The Educational and Psychopedagogical Guidance Area aims to provide guidance and support to applicants, students, and the university community in general, in order to assist their academic and personal development. The professionals in this area provide guidance and support regarding the teaching and learning process, study skills, career choice, and, in general, strategies to improve academic performance as well as the development of psychosocial and personal skills.

At the Educational and Psychopedagogical Guidance Area, we are available to support, guide, and advise you, with the aim of contributing to your academic and personal development by enhancing your resources, academic skills, and psychosocial abilities.

How do we do it?

  • Providing academic guidance and support.
  • Offering educational and career counseling.
  • Supporting and guiding students in psycho-emotional aspects. Although psychological therapy is not offered, the professionals in this area can provide emotional support and personal guidance on issues that may affect academic performance.
  • These services can be offered individually or in group sessions.

Commonly addressed topics include: the learning process, study skills, time management and planning, career choice, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, stress and anxiety management related to university life, and the development of personal skills, among others.

At the Educational and Psychopedagogical Guidance Area, we are available to support the improvement of your professional practice through psychopedagogical assistance applied to the teaching and learning process, as well as by offering services that contribute to personal development.

How do we do it?

  • Offering workshops and training courses on topics relevant to professional and personal development.
  • Advising and supporting conflict management. The professionals in this area can provide guidance on managing conflicts with students, as well as on preventing and resolving conflicts within the classroom.
  • Supporting and guiding in psycho-emotional aspects and personal development. Although psychological therapy is not offered, the professionals in this area can provide emotional support and personal guidance on issues that may affect professional performance and practice.

Commonly addressed topics include: assertive communication, motivation, conflict management, collaborative work, diversity and inclusion, stress and anxiety management, among others.
