EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

MISSION

The mission of the Electronics Engineer educational program is to train human resources of excellence in the field of electronic engineering, competitive on the national and international stage, committed to society and its institutions, capable of generating and applying knowledge, as well as developing skills for the solution of problems of the discipline, in order to improve the quality of life of society using the state of the art of engineering, within a context of values and in harmony with the environment.

VISION

In 2029, the Electronics Engineer educational program will be a consolidated program that trains high-quality professionals, generates knowledge, and develops technology transferred to the productive sector. It is relevant, innovative, and recognized by external organizations, positioning it as one of the best in Mexico.


EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The Educational Objectives (OE) that the students of the Electronics Engineering EP will be able to achieve based on their experience in the program and their work as professionals are:

  1. Participates in the design, construction, evaluation, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and management of electronic systems through analysis, synthesis, and evaluation, with which they solve the problems of their work activity in both technical and consulting or business areas.
  2. Participates in the management of technological innovation and applied research projects related to electronic systems or their components in a responsible way, with a critical, creative, and entrepreneurial attitude, achieving the proposed goals.
  3. Work in multidisciplinary teams as a leader or as an active member, communicating clearly and effectively in Spanish and a suitable foreign language, using appropriate language and technology.
  4. He fulfills his professional responsibilities respecting the codes of ethics and regulations applicable to his profession and those of his workplace, convinced of the virtues of pursuing the highest human values and respect and protection of the environment.
  5. They practice self-learning, continuous training, specialization, or postgraduate studies in their knowledge and other disciplines that allow them to update their skills in their area of interest.
  6. Participate professionally in multicultural international environments within a dynamic world where continuous collaboration is promoted.

ATTRIBUTES OF THE GRADUATE

The Attributes of the Graduate (AE) that they will achieve at the end of their training are:

  1. Identify and solve problems in Electronic Engineering by applying the principles of basic sciences and engineering.
  2. Apply and analyze Electronic Engineering design processes in projects that meet the specified needs.
  3. Conduct experimentation: Analyze and interpret data to conclude.
  4. Communicate with different audiences.
  5. Know and follow the ethical and professional policies of the company and adhere to environmental and quality standards.
  6. Recognize the need for continuing education by identifying areas of opportunity to participate in specialization courses.
  7. Work effectively in teams that set goals, plan tasks, meet deadlines, and analyze risks and uncertainty.
