With the purpose of strengthening the decentralization of processes towards the Academic Units, making the attention to participating students more efficient, and contributing to their comprehensive education by consolidating the approach with the community, the new Community Service Regulations of the Autonomous University of Baja California are created.
The aforementioned regulation establishes the bases and general guidelines for the provision of community service by students pursuing higher university technical and undergraduate studies at UABC and institutions with incorporated educational programs, emphasizing that training activities and application of knowledge focus on the benefit or interest of marginalized sectors of society.
