Assignment Process for the Professional Social Service

1. Submission of the Assignment Request:
   

   • The student interested in completing their Professional Social Service must submit an assignment request to a professional social service program.

   • Requirement: The student must have successfully completed the accredited Professional Social Service Workshop.

2. Review by the Program Supervisor in the Receiving Unit:
   
   • The program supervisor in the Receiving Unit reviews the assignment request to ensure that it meets the established requirements.

3. Approval of the Assignment Request:

   • Once the request meets the requirements, the assignment request is approved.

   • The Social Service coordinator in the Academic Unit reviews the request to verify compliance with any additional requirements.

4. Final Approval by the Academic Unit:
   
   • If the request meets all requirements, the Academic Unit approves the student’s assignment to the professional social service program.

How to Access the Professional Social Service
To enroll in the Professional Social Service, follow these steps:

1. Go to https://serviciosocial.uabc.mx/ and log in with your username and password.
2. On the left sidebar, locate the section “Social Service Program Catalog.”
3. Select the stage “PROFESSIONAL” and click on search.
4. A list of available programs and vacancies will be displayed.
5. You can perform actions such as consulting program information and directly requesting assignment through the platform.
