STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE

The Student Health Insurance is an important benefit for students of the Autonomous University of Baja California. It provides medical coverage to those students who require healthcare during their period of study.


Enrollment Procedure

Step 1: Obtain your social security number from the IMSS website or through the IMSS DIGITAL application for Android or iOS.

Requirements: CURP and email address.

Step 2: Access the following form, fill in the required information, and click submit.

Step 3: You will receive a notification in your UABC email account within 2-4 business days.

Step 4: Once you receive the notification, the IMSS will update its databse within 72 hours. After this period, log back into the IMSS website to verify your coverage status.

Step 5: Print the certificate of coverage validity.

Paso 6: Go to the nearest clinic to your residence to obtain your appoinment card and access medical, surgical, hospital, and pharmaceutical services.
